Shareholder and Senior Consultant – Project, Process and IT Service Management

As an expert in business process management, Thomas Holzmann helps FLYING EYE support workflow organization projects and change processes. Following his university degree, he began working in the area of project management. That includes not just the traditional disciplines, like project structuring and risk management, but also modern agile methods. In order to account for the constantly growing share of IT projects in the industry, he works as an ITIL specialist at FLYING EYE.

In addition to many public and private broadcasting companies, Thomas Holzmann also worked with a FLYING EYE team to provide consulting for Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL), the German football league, on creating a game database, particularly with regard to IT service management issues.

He supported two different moves for N24 (now known as Welt). During the move within Berlin, the company introduced ultramodern, highly efficient workflows, including control room automation and journalist editing. Between 2007 and 2010, he was the Interim Manager at ProSiebenSat1, where he managed software development and broadcast services.

Before coming to FLYING EYE, the graduate industrial engineer worked at Robert Bosch GmbH (later Philips Broadcast Television Systems), where he was involved in introducing the European HDTV system. He left Philips in 1997, as General Manager of the System group with 130 million DM in revenue and 110 employees, to establish FLYING EYE. He was a managing partner at FLYING EYE until 2012.
