Shareholder and Senior Consultant – Broadcast Planning and Project Management
Stoffer Geiling plans and manages complex broadcast projects; he supports engineering planning for studio renovations and new studio construction as well as their implementation. In addition to managing project finances, risk and change management, his area of expertise also includes creating tenders for projects.
As a FLYING EYE consultant, he has supported several new construction and renovation projects for rbb: HD production for the “Abendschau” program with control room automation, for the TV control room and the SAW, and for the production complex in Potsdam. In the process, he analyzed workflows, planned the entire studio, and created the EU-wide call for tenders. He supported the interface between construction and studio technology, and was responsible for project management up through handover to the user. He also worked on similar projects for WDR, ARTE and N24.
After completing his Engineering degree in Film and Television Technology, Geiling initially worked as a sound engineer. After spending three years abroad as the Technical Director of a film lab, he planned and supported several studio projects for television and radio. Geiling has been a partner at FLYING EYE since 2008.
