Partner and Senior Consultant – UHDTV (e.g. HDR), AI (e.g. Video Fingerprinting) and Workflow Design

At FLYING EYE, Lucien Lenzen is an expert for all questions concerning the future television standard UHDTV as well as for topics in the field of artificial intelligence such as video fingerprinting and speech-to-text.

Further focal points of his work are the analysis and conception of broadcast workflows, requirements elicitation and transfer into user stories as well as the (technical) product owner role.

As a research assistant at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences for many years, he worked on research projects that are still shaping the future of the media industry today. A special focus of his work was HDR. In 2021, he received his doctorate on the topic of “Concept for the introduction of HDR in broadcast using preference-based contrast compression”.

He is the recipient of the FKTG (Fernseh- und Kinotechnische Gesellschaft) graduate award and received the “Best Young Professional Award” from the IBC (International Broadcasting Convention) and IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) in 2016. He has been a board member of the FKTG since 2018.
