KI@Media

It is undeniable that the topic of AI has become an integral part of the media world. New tools, services and applications are emerging almost daily to increase efficiency, improve quality and enrich the media industry. But where does the use of artificial intelligence really make sense for our customers? And which AI technologies really bring an advantage for editorial, production, broadcasting, marketing and administration?

We have analyzed the current AI offering for the media world, brought order to the chaos of the diverse possibilities and are now helping our customers find their individual raisins in the cake.

During a market analysis for ARTE, for example, we examined subject-specific and organization-relevant AI services. We then took over the evaluation and assessment of the services for their readiness in the public sector environment, especially with a view to quality as well as cost and operating models. Our focus here was particularly on the topics of transcription, assistance systems (ChatBot/LLMs), voice synthesis and text-to-image.

We recently supported another customer in designing and building an AI platform and relevant analysis services for deriving metadata, transcription and person recognition.

We were also recently commissioned to analyze established administrative processes. Essentially it was about consolidating and working with large, complex Excel tables. In the area of word processing, explanatory texts are created and meetings are recorded. It should also be explicitly examined to what extent AI tools could provide relief for the department’s employees. Through our analysis and research, it became clear that efficiency gains are already possible by using existing AI functions in applications and by using special plug-ins in generative AI.

How can we support you with questions about the use of AI?
We look forward to your message.
