With a size of 14.000 sqm, this High End Post Production Centre on the historical site of the Babelsberg Film Studios comprises the latest production technology for Cinema, TV and New Media.

 

In cooperation with the client, FLYING EYE developed a project contract based on existing conceptual project designs, intended for the user specific infrastructure, the so-called 'Operational Concept Document'. When one did not succeed in finding a suitable general contractor or system integrator at the interface between IT- and Video World, FLYING EYE undertook the task of building up a project organisation, which permitted the client itself to complete settlement of the project.

 

In accordance to the process orientation, the project manual was developed first. It described all relevant operations and the organisational structure could be derived from that as well. During the course of the project FLYING EYE has supervised the efficient usage of the chosen tools and the progress of the project as a member of the management committee. Furthermore FLYING EYE staff members have organised and supported the call for tenders and award procedure according to 'VOL' and have put the purchased equipment on the inventory.
